Connect Reddit Ads to Pace and your Reddit performance data — spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions — appears in the same account and campaign tables as your Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, and TikTok Ads.
Linked Reddit accounts work like your other platforms inside Pace: set monthly budgets and pacing targets and Pace actively paces them, edit budgets and pause campaigns from the tables, organise campaigns into groups, generate Sparks and client reports, and track records and a full change history.
What you'll need
- Membership of a Pace workspace. Any member can start the connection.
- A Reddit account with business access to the ad accounts you want in Pace. Pace finds ad accounts through the businesses your Reddit user belongs to, so if your Reddit login can open the account in Reddit Ads, Pace can see it.
- A few minutes.
Note: Pace asks Reddit for read and write access when you connect. Read access shows your performance data; write access is what lets Pace pace budgets and pause campaigns for you. Approving the connection doesn't change anything in your Reddit account by itself — Pace only makes changes when you set up pacing or edit something.
Connect Reddit Ads in Pace
- Open Linked Accounts and select the Reddit Ads tab.
- Select Connect. Pace sends you to Reddit's own sign-in and consent screen.
- Sign in with the Reddit account that has access to your ad accounts, then approve. Pace brings you back to Linked Accounts with a confirmation that Reddit Ads is connected.
- Open the Unlinked tab, tick the ad accounts you want in Pace, and select Link.
Connecting and linking are two separate steps. Approving on Reddit imports nothing on its own — Pace only tracks the ad accounts you link.
How you'll know it worked
The Reddit Ads card shows a green Connected badge, a pill with your email, and a Since date. The ad accounts you linked move to the Linked tab, and their performance data starts appearing on your accounts page.
Connected before automated pacing arrived?
If you connected Reddit Ads while Pace was read-only, your connection keeps showing performance data — but it doesn't yet include the write permission Pace needs to pace budgets or pause campaigns. Reconnect once to grant it: open Linked Accounts, choose Reconnect on the Reddit Ads card, and approve on Reddit again. Only the member who originally connected Reddit Ads can do this.
Until you reconnect, budget and status edits show a message asking you to reconnect, and if a scheduled pacing run can't make its changes, Pace notifies you that the connection needs re-authentication rather than failing silently.
What works today
Linked Reddit ad accounts show spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and conversion value in the account table, the campaign table, and the Ad Groups and Ads tabs — the same views you use for every other platform, across the same date ranges. On the Ads tab, open any ad to see its status and creative and jump straight to the live post on Reddit. Beyond the numbers, Reddit accounts support:
- Budgets and pacing targets. Open a Reddit account's settings to set a monthly budget, goal, and schedule, and choose which campaigns count towards it. The account then shows its pace, daily target, and remaining budget like any other account. Dot can set pacing targets for you too.
- Automated pacing. Pace adjusts your Reddit budgets on scheduled runs and whenever you select Pace, the same way it manages your other platforms. Reddit keeps daily budgets on ad groups for most campaigns (only campaigns using campaign budget optimisation carry a campaign-level budget), and Pace paces at whichever level the budget actually lives.
- Budget and status edits. Edit budgets straight from the tables — on the campaign for campaign-budget-optimisation campaigns, on the ad groups for everything else — and pause or re-enable campaigns, ad groups, and ads without leaving Pace.
- Overspend protection. If an account or campaign group spends past its cap, Pace pauses its campaigns and resumes them once spend is back under control.
- Campaign groups. Group Reddit campaigns and give each group its own budget and pace.
- Sparks. Pace's AI insights run on Reddit accounts and surface findings as recommendations for you to act on.
- Reports. Two Reddit report templates: a full performance report and an executive summary.
- Records and a Record Broken alert. Reddit accounts track their performance records, and Pace alerts you when an account beats one. Record Broken is the only alert type on Reddit for now.
- Change history. Every change — budgets, statuses, targets, groups, campaign inclusion, and every pacing run — is logged on the account's Changes tab in plain language.
The Improvements tab isn't offered for Reddit accounts yet.
Common Reddit connection problems
- An ad account is missing from the Unlinked tab. The Reddit account you signed in with can't access it. Fix the access in Reddit (add your Reddit user to the business that owns the account), then refresh the Unlinked tab — Pace re-checks what your login can see each time.
- The connection came back with an error. Reddit sign-in windows sometimes expire if left open. Start again from Linked Accounts and complete the approval in one pass.
- Someone else connected it. Only the member who connected Reddit Ads can re-authenticate or disconnect it, from the ⋮ menu on the card. To take it over, ask them to disconnect first, then connect Reddit Ads yourself. For the full lifecycle, see managing permissions and re-authentication.
Disconnecting and unlinking
Unlink individual ad accounts from the Linked tab at any time — Pace stops tracking their performance and deletes their Pace-side settings, and your Reddit account is untouched. Disconnect the whole connection from the ⋮ menu on the Reddit Ads card; that revokes Pace's access and unlinks your Reddit ad accounts. You can reconnect later.
How your Reddit credentials are kept safe
The connection uses OAuth 2.0, so you never type your Reddit password into Pace. The access key Reddit hands back is encrypted at rest in your workspace's own credential store, never sent to your browser, never placed in a web address, and never written to Pace's logs. The access key refreshes automatically, and Pace makes every Reddit request on your behalf.
